Neighborhood Family Practice is a health center with a family practice approach. All of our physicians are board certified in family practice. All medical providers see the entire family (unless noted) and work to identify problems negatively impacting the health status of the family as well as the individual. Our doctors, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives and behavioral health therapists provide care that is based on the needs of each person in a respectful, confidential, and caring manner.

Michael, a Canton, OH native, pursued his undergraduate studies in biology at Brown University. He then embarked on an intensive six-year accelerated training program in family medicine, completing it through Ohio University and Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Outside of his professional life, Michael is passionate about socks and cinema. He enjoys staying active, exploring new destinations, and cherishing moments with his puppy and fiancé.

Brian Bouchard received his bachelor’s degree from Davidson College in 2012 and his medical degree from Washington University at the St. Louis School of Medicine in 2016. He completed his family medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in partnership with the University of Cincinnati. In 2019, Dr. Bouchard joined Neighborhood Family Practice in 2019 as a family physician.

Kathy Chilton joined Neighborhood Family Practice in 2019. A family nurse practitioner, she earned her bachelor of science in nursing and master of science in nursing from the University of Texas School of Nursing. Kathy has over 25 years of experience as a nurse and a decade of experience as a nurse practitioner. She has provided primary care services to adult and pediatric populations managing acute and chronic illnesses.

Austine Clark joined Neighborhood Family Practice in 2023. She earned her BS in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. After serving in the Peace Corps, she began nursing school at Case Western Reserve University where she earned her MSN degree. Since then, she has worked in Cardiology, Pediatrics, and Family Health. Austine has a passion for travel, culture, and learning about how other people live. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, running, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Stephanie Deuley, DO received her medical degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. She completed residency training in 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic Family Medicine Residency in Lakewood, OH. Dr. Deuley started working at the NFP Ridge Community Health Center in August 2021. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages with other interests in women’s health, adolescent care, LGBTQ+ health, global health, and performs osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT). Otherwise, Dr. Deuley enjoys traveling, running, and reading in her spare time.

Rene Fitzpatrick is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of individuals and families. In her spare time, Rene enjoys cooking – often trying new recipes to share with others – and spending time with her family.

Prakash Ganesh earned his medical degree from the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University in collaboration with Columbia University located in Beer Sheva, Israel and his master’s in public health from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He has worked on and off at NFP since his residency in 2013 and became a staff physician in 2020. Dr. Ganesh has an interest in HIV care, refugee care and global health and is certified as an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist. In his free time he enjoys the spending time with his wife and two daughters hiking and biking.

Julie is licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the State of Ohio and a Member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. Kate received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron and a Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. Kate completed her Nurse Midwife- Clinical Practicum at Paragon Health Associates. She also serves as a visiting professor-maternal child nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing and an adjunct clinical instructor- maternal child nursing at Cuyahoga Community College.

Katy Maistros, midwife, is honored to be working with the family practice providers and fellow nurse midwives at Neighborhood Family Practice. She has been at NFP since 2005 and feels privileged to serve the women of the Near West Side as a Nurse Midwife. Katy grew up in Hicksville. Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, She was a Peace Corps Volunteer from 1999 to 2001 in Turkmenistan, Central Asia. Katy graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Master’s in Nurse-Midwifery.
She currently lives on the west side of Cleveland with her husband and three sons. Her philosophy of care encourages women to recognize their highest potential for physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Katy’s interests lie in low interventive childbirth, adolescent health, and family planning.

She received her bachelor’s degree from Earlham College in 2010, and graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing’s Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2020. Nadia’s favorite part of being a midwife is witnessing people learn about themselves, discover their ability to heal and experience their power. In her free time she loves to read, sing, dance, occasionally paint, and spend time with the people she loves.

She completed her Family Medicine residency in Philadelphia at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Since 1998, she was the Director of Community Medicine and full-time faculty with the UPMC St. Margaret Family Medicine Residency until she moved to Cleveland in 2021 when she joined NFP. Sandy’s passion is caring for marginalized populations to ensure access to dignified, respectful, empathic primary care that promotes self-efficacy and focuses on wellness, not just disease management. She is married, has 3 children and enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family.

Dr. Wise has practiced at Neighborhood Family Practice since 1995.
