On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Neighborhood Family Practice proudly celebrated a major milestone in our mission to bring high-quality, affordable care to Cleveland’s neighborhoods. With great joy and anticipation for the future, we held a ribbon cutting ceremony for our brand new 10,000-square-foot health center located at 13027 Lorain Avenue, in the heart of the Jefferson Park neighborhood.
We were honored to welcome an incredible group of community leaders who joined us in marking this momentous occasion: Congresswoman Shontel Brown, Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne, Cuyahoga County Councilmember Martin Sweeney, and Cleveland City Council Member Brian Kazy. Their presence and support underscore how deeply this effort is rooted in community collaboration and shared responsibility for the health and wellbeing of our residents.
This new health center isn’t just a building—it’s a promise. A promise that no matter the economic or structural challenges facing our city, Neighborhood Family Practice remains committed to meeting people where they are and ensuring they have access to the care they need.
In recent months, we’ve watched as large pharmacies like CVS have closed their doors across Cleveland, leaving too many without convenient access to prescriptions and basic health services. That gap has real consequences for families, seniors, and individuals who already face barriers to care. At NFP, we believe healthcare should be within reach for everyone, and our newest facility is a response to that urgent need.
The Jefferson Park health center will offer comprehensive services including primary care, dental care, and behavioral health. In the near future, we’ll also launch a drive-through pharmacy—designed to make access even more seamless, especially for patients with mobility challenges or tight schedules.
This project reflects the spirit of Neighborhood Family Practice: rooted in community, responsive to changing needs, and always driven by equity and compassion. We’re grateful to everyone who made this opening possible—our staff, board, elected officials, and, most importantly, the residents of Jefferson Park and surrounding neighborhoods.
Thank you for trusting us with your care. We look forward to serving you for many years to come.
In community and with gratitude,
Domonic Hopson
