Neighborhood Family Practice was founded in 1980.

In response to a concern that residents of Cleveland’s near west side lacked access to primary health care. A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NFP focuses on providing high quality primary care in a medical home setting.

As a community provider, our seven convenient locations offer same day appointments. The NFP service area spans twelve neighborhoods across Cleveland’s west side and is comprised of a very diverse mix of residents.

NFP accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most commercial insurance plans and offers a financial assistance program (sliding fee discount) for the uninsured.

Neighborhood Family Practice is a recipient of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and each of its locations are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
